Largemouth bass are also found in the southern reaches of Quebec. They can be taken with almost any common live bait and artificial baits like the Hula Popper which incite ferocious strikes and thrilling displays of jumping fish.

Smallmouth bass stake out different water than largemouths and their habitat extends further into Northern Quebec. Fly fishing, bait casting and spinning techniques are all effective. Canadian Record: 9 lbs. 13.5 ounces.

Tapani Outfitter Inc. has a great reputation for quality black bear hunting in Ste-Anne-du-Lac, Québec, Canada, where black bears, deer, game birds and waterfowl hunting is bountiful. It's tradition for guiding hunters and fishermen dates back to the early 70's. Not only do we have a large territory with many mature black bears, we have the knowledge and skills to find them !!!

Our main pavillion and 13 cabins are located on the shores of the Tapanee lake. The cabins, clean and cozy, are equipped with modern conveniences: electricity, hot water, indoor toilets and showers.

We welcome you to our Lodge located on the magnificent shores of the Lac Piscatosine in the Upper Laurentians at about 32 km from Ferme-Neuve. Lac Piscatosine has an area of 70 square kilometers with different marine bottoms , ideal for walleye , northern pike, smallmouth bass, gray trout ( lake trout), landlocked salmon, perch, whitefish, yellow lake sturgeon. Use our trail to walk or bike and share with us your observations .

Sixteen fully equipped, comfortable cottages accommodate from 2 to 12 people. An incredible view of the lake will make the moment unforgettable. Campsites are available including water and electricity. We have a dinning room of 60 seats.

The Outaouais region is the Quebec Small and Big mouth bass paradise and naturally, the Upper-Gatineau, one of its sub-regions, is filled with these fishes. Moreover, in certain lakes, as the Giles lake, the Big mouth bass is a favorite for the big sensations lovers, practicing "catch and release".
An incomparable fighter ! When the warm temperature slows down the activities of many species, bass is still full of energy, even during a heatwave and is also excellent for fly-fishing.

Ten (10) rustic and comfortable cottages lodging 2 to 12 persons are at your disposal. You can choose accommodation with or without meals included. Camping spots are available.



On a light line, the smallmouth is a spectacular battler, often jumping repeatedly and diving down into the depths. The average smallmouth bass runs from 10 to 20 inches
